Hi, my name is Ricky
Johnson aka 'Toad', yes that's right, Toad. I'm from the Mississippi
Delta, the birthplace of the blues. Blues music can be traced as the
father of many types of music including Country, Rock, and even New Orleans
Jazz. All the great blues legends such as Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters,
and B. B. King all have their roots in the rich Delta soil. Many made
the trip up Highway 61 to
Memphis as well as down south to New Orleans to find their fame and fortune.
This is the story of MY trip up and down the Blues highway of life. Let the journey begin... |

around together from an early age.
That's me wearing the sunglasses. Legend has it that this picture was taken on my second birthday.
