Not long after this David and I along with sound engineer Dirk Chrestman made a road trip to New Orleans for Mardi Gras in 1976. I had to hock my class ring for gas money! Never got it back... but I'll also never regret it! Here's a picture of me taken at rehearsal the night before the big gig. Proof positive that I started the 'Overalls' craze of the mid-seventies!
