RC Planes
Yeah, I'm a closet aviator. I went through my first RC plane phase from 1993-1995.
Below is a picture of my first model, a Goldberg Eaglet.
By the way, this is the BEFORE picture. See below for the after picture!

There were many more planes and many more piles of balsa wood. But, my greatest effort was when I mounted a 35mm auto-advance camera on a Goldberg Eagle II (trimmed in CASE International colors). Here is a picture from aloft showing the flight line of the Beaver Dam Bombers. That's me and Paul Pressgrove in the field to the right. He's flying the plane while I'm clicking the camera's shutter! You can see the shadow of the plane at the bottom right of the picture.

Well, RC had to take a back seat to music for several years, but later on in the summer of 2003 I decided to try it again. So, I got the old Eagle out and with the help of my friend Charles Thompson, we got it flying again.
Now that I was back up to speed, I was ready for another challege.
